My husband caught me texting another man romantically

‘I have never met with the guy i was texting, but my husband suspects we had sex and now he has requested for a divorce. I feel he is taking things too far and yet nothing has happened’, the woman cried.

The wife, who wishes to remain anonymous, claims that while she did exchange romantic messages with the man, they never met in person.

She expressed surprise at her husband’s decision to pursue a divorce, questioning whether his reaction was disproportionate to the situation.

However, the husband firmly stands by his decision. In a statement, he expressed his deep sense of betrayal and loss of trust.

He said, “My wife lied to me and betrayed our marriage vows. She took something sacred that belonged to us and shared it outside our relationship.”

The husband further explained that his wife’s actions have led him to question the entirety of their relationship.

“Her behavior makes me suspect there might be more to the story,” he stated. “The fact that she doesn’t seem to grasp the seriousness of her actions or the pain she’s caused me is deeply concerning.”

He concluded by saying, “I now see that marrying her was a mistake, one that I intend to rectify. In my view, she initiated this divorce the moment she decided to engage romantically with another person.”
