Irish UFC superstar Conor McGregor has opened up about the pivotal role his wife played in his journey to success.

The couple, who have been together for eight years, initially lived in a rented apartment 30 miles from Dublin, struggling to make ends meet.
During this period, McGregor was unemployed, dedicating all his time and energy to training.
He recalled the financial strain they endured, emphasizing how his wife’s unwavering support allowed him to maintain the strict diet required for an aspiring athlete.
“She believed in me,” McGregor stated, describing how his wife would consistently encourage him after grueling training sessions. He fondly remembered her words: “Conor McGregor, I know you can do this, and it will work.”

The fighter’s perseverance, bolstered by his wife’s steadfast support, eventually paid off. McGregor now commands multi-million-dollar paydays for fights that draw crowds of 50,000 to 70,000 spectators.

“I got to this place because of her,” McGregor declared. “She never gave up on me and she never left me alone.”
