Social media often showcases the glamorous side of nightlife, but Michelle Ntalami’s story stands out as a beacon of transformation.
The beautiful entrepreneur in Kenya and CEO of Marini Naturals has recently shared her incredible journey from the club scene to the church pews, marking a year of sobriety and spiritual awakening.
Ntalami’s path to change began quietly, with a personal decision to quit alcohol even before her spiritual encounter.
“Quitting alcohol is something I did even before my encounter with God,” she revealed.
This initial step led to a domino effect of positive changes in her life, including clearing out her alcohol stash and saying goodbye to her clubbing days.
How Did It Worked for Michelle Ntalami

The turning point came on August 21, 2023, when Ntalami experienced what she describes as an intense moment of fear and darkness.
“I could literally see death…it’s almost like there was a spirit of death and darkness surrounding me,” she shared.
This harrowing experience became the catalyst for her spiritual journey, leading her to seek comfort and purpose in faith.
Now, a year into her sobriety, Ntalami celebrates the remarkable changes in her life.
She reports better skin, improved sleep, and a newfound appreciation for spending her Sundays in spiritual reflection rather than nursing hangovers.
How Has Life Changed?

“Life alcohol-free since has been so beautiful!” she exclaimed.
Her journey hasn’t been without challenges. When Ntalami first announced her 30-day sobriety milestone, some friends doubted her ability to maintain it.
Yet, she persevered, proving that determination and willpower can overcome skepticism.
Ntalami’s story resonates with many who struggle with harmful habits or seek positive change in their lives.
She emphasizes that overcoming challenges doesn’t necessarily require religious motivation:
“It is absolutely possible by your own volition,” she encourages.
The entrepreneur’s transformation extends beyond just giving up alcohol.
Recently baptized alongside her mother, Ntalami shares that her spiritual journey has deepened her relationship with God.
“I hunger and thirst for God even more. I have grown to love and know Him even more intimately,” she wrote.
Ntalami’s advice for those looking to make similar changes in their lives is practical and inspiring.
She suggests starting by removing negative influences, whether they be places, people, or things that enable harmful habits.
“In time, you won’t have the desire to engage in that habit anymore. It is possible, I DID IT!” she affirms.
